Kitten found alone on the street

Rescuers collected a kitten barely three weeks old found alone on the street. According to the association, the kitten approached a passerby by rubbing against her legs, as if desperately seeking help.

Kitten needs her mother

The kitten is actually a small female who still needs her mother cat. According to the rescuers who named her Meskina, her health condition is very concerning.

Severe health issues

Indeed, the poor kitten suffers from extreme emaciation and a rhinitis affecting her breathing. Her appetite is very weak despite the care. The medical team is trying to stimulate her feeding with an appropriate treatment.

Kitten ingested cardboard and paper

However, this is not all: an event shocked the entire team. Meskina's first stools contained cardboard and paper. The volunteers think that the kitten tried to satisfy her hunger by swallowing the only elements she found around her on the street.

Kitten continues to fight

A small fighter. Despite her alarming health condition, Meskina continues to fight. The Cœur d’Ain Félin association is doing everything to save her.

Community support needed

However, the treatment of the cat represents a significant amount: the rescuers therefore ask for the help of their community. Indeed, every contribution can help them continue their mission of rescuing animals in need.

How to help

It is possible to support them through an online fundraising page. We wish this adorable cat to gain strength to grow well and enjoy the warmth of a cocoon just for her.
