Tezenis Verona signs Milan Barbitch

Tezenis Verona has signed forward Milan Barbitch, a 25-year-old player standing 1.98 meters tall. This will be his third experience playing abroad, having previously played in France, Greece, and Poland.

Barbitch's professional journey

Barbitch trained at Pôle France before becoming a professional in 2019 with Paris Basketball. He played for three seasons with the Parisian club, contributing to its promotion to Ligue 1 during the 2020/21 season.

Performance in recent seasons

During the 2022/23 season, he joined Fos Provence Basket, where he finished the season with an average of 11.3 points and 2.4 decisive assists per game. The following year, he played for ADA Blois, also in Ligue 1, averaging 12.3 points, 4.9 decisive assists, and 3.9 rebounds in 33 appearances.

European experience and international moves

During the 2024/25 season, he joined Nanterre 92, where he played in the French league and the BCL, thereby gaining additional experience at the European level. During the 2025/26 season, he continued his career abroad, first playing for Kolossos Rhodes in the Greek first division, before joining Arka Gdynia in the Polish league.

Pre-season involvement

During the 2026 off-season, he also participated in the pre-season preparation of MoraBanc Andorra, a team playing in the Spanish first division.

Barbitch's thoughts on joining Tezenis Verona

Milan Barbitch stated, "First of all, it was great to meet my new teammates, the coach and the staff. There is such a positive energy here, and the organization is really excellent. I don't know the city yet, but it looks beautiful, so I'm really looking forward to meeting the fans and bringing many of them to the arena."

Coach Ramagli's comments on the signing

Alessandro Ramagli, coach of Tezenis Verona, said, "The injury of Massinburg and the prolonged absence of Brockington have significantly reduced our options on the wings, forcing us to act on the transfer market. We therefore decided to integrate Milan Barbitch, a young player who has already acquired significant experience in France and, last season, in Greece and Poland. He is an athlete capable of playing both as a guard and as a primary playmaker."
