At IFA 2026, BLUETTI introduced a range of new products aimed at making solar energy and energy storage more accessible to the general public. Among the highlights were the Balco 260 and 500, compact systems designed for installation on balconies or terraces. These devices combine solar energy collection with storage, allowing users to harness renewable power more efficiently. Another notable product is the Balco Transfer, an accessory that enables domestic energy storage systems to function as solar energy stations. BLUETTI also unveiled the Pioneer 5000, an electric generator designed for professional use, capable of delivering up to 18 kW of power at peak performance. The Balco 260 emphasizes ease of use, allowing installation by individuals without technical training. It requires only connecting solar panels and plugging the device into a standard electrical socket. The Balco 500 follows a similar design but includes the option to integrate into an electrical panel, offering greater flexibility for both traditional and modern setups. Both models are equipped with an energy management system (EMS) that uses artificial intelligence to optimize energy usage based on factors like solar production, electricity prices, and weather forecasts. The Balco 500 can receive up to 4,600 watts of power from solar panels and deliver between 800 and 3,680 watts depending on needs. It includes a 5,024 watt-hour battery, enabling substantial energy storage for later use. The Balco 260, while smaller, can accept up to 2,400 watts of solar input and deliver up to 2,300 watts in bypass mode. Its battery capacity can be expanded with additional units. The Balco 500 is larger, measuring 465 × 232.2 × 630 mm and weighing 63 kg. BLUETTI is offering limited-time discounts on its new products.
