Theatrical production explores legal and social themes

A theatrical production titled Magistral·e·s examines themes of rape, consent, and collective responsibility through a fictional trial. It draws inspiration from a real trial that contributed to the creation of a law regarding the non-consent of minors under 15 years old.

Collaborative creative team

The production is created by Alexandra Cismondi, who is responsible for both the text and staging. Camille Duchemin designed the scenography and lighting, while Colombe Lauriot Prévost, with assistance from Thelma Di Marco Bourgeon, handled the costumes. Eric Petit contributed to the sound creation, and Benoît Olive composed the sounds and music. Legal guidance was provided by Maître Camille Hamonet.

Cast and production partners

The production features actors Marie-Sohna Condé, Noémie Gantier, Elio Massignat, Mélodie Richard, Crystal Shepherd-Cross, and Wyssem Romdhane. It is produced by Vertiges Compagnie and co-produced by several national theaters, including Châteauvallon-Liberté scène nationale de Toulon, Le théâtre des Salins-Scène nationale de Martigues, and others across France.

Performance schedule and locations

The creation of Magistral·e·s is attributed to Châteauvallon-Liberté scène nationale de Toulon, with performances scheduled from 12 to 16 November 2026. Additional shows are planned in various cities across France, including Lyon, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Nice, and others, with dates ranging from November 2026 to March 2027.
