Mods now available on consoles

Now that mods are finally downloadable on the console versions of Cyberpunk 2077, several recommendations have been made for players. The recently released 2.5 update, which accompanies the arrival of Edgerunners 2 on Netflix, has made it possible to use mods on platforms other than PC. Several dozen mods are already usable on PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2. Five mods are recommended for console players.

Deceptious Quest Core framework

The first mod recommended is Deceptious Quest Core, by Deceptious. It is a framework allowing the activation of other quest or interaction mods. If players want to add new quests or additional actions to their game, they will need this mod if those quests or actions depend on it.

Night City Interactions mod

The second mod is Night City Interactions, also by Deceptious. It allows the addition of interactions in different districts of the city, provided that the corresponding add-ons are downloaded, with companions such as Judy, Panam or Kerry.

Easier Sprint Activation mod

The third mod is Easier Sprint Activation by RMK_. This mod corrects a minor bug that caused the sprint to not trigger consistently on the controller. It ensures that V responds immediately when asked to run.

Quickhack Loadouts mod

The fourth mod is Quickhack Loadouts, also by RMK_. This mod is aimed at aspiring netrunners and allows the creation of different sets of hacks, to easily switch from one set to another depending on whether players are in combat, infiltration, or causing chaos in Night City.

E3 Cyberware mod

The fifth mod is E3 Cyberware, by manavortex. It allows replacing the first facial implant option of the base game with that of the E3 presentation. It should be noted that manavortex has created other mods aimed at altering the appearance of the female version of V to make her look like her E3 2018 version, but not all are yet available on consoles.
