Corsican police officer returns to his roots

A Corsican-born Parisian police officer named Anto returns to the island of Corsica with his family in a new television series now airing on France.tv. The show is exclusive to subscribers and follows Anto as he confronts his past, particularly after his brother was killed in a violent confrontation.

Past promises haunt the present

Anto made a promise to never seek revenge after his brother’s death, but years later, as a police officer in Paris, he returns to Corsica with his wife, Vanina, and their young son, Santu. His father and Vanina encourage him to take over the family vineyard, a move that brings him back into contact with old rivalries and tensions.

Violence and trauma disrupt the peace

Anto is shot by a masked man and falls into a coma, leaving his son, Santu, traumatized and fixated on continuing the family’s vendetta. The series explores themes of revenge, betrayal, and hidden desires, with romantic subplots playing a central role in the narrative.

Twists and memorable performances

The first two episodes of the series are filled with fast-paced twists that sometimes stretch the boundaries of believability. One of the final appearances of actor Tchéky Karyo, who passed away in 2025, is featured in a role as a formidable mafia boss, showcasing his full acting range and charisma.
