Several exhibitions and cultural events are planned for October in various locations across the south of France. Le temps des souvenirs, an exhibition organized by the French Red Cross and the CAARUD L'Oasis, will be held at the Bagnols-sur-Cèze hospital center from October 5 to 9, and then at the Agglo headquarters from October 12 to 16. This event aims to reflect on memories and experiences related to humanitarian work. Regards croisés, fragments du territoire, a photography exhibition by the Lou Ventabren life center, will be displayed at the library of Pont-Saint-Esprit throughout the month. Meanwhile, the Chusclan media library will host Art, movement, emotions, an exhibition exploring the connection between art and human emotions, during the same period. From October 7 to 14, the Conservatoire du Gard rhodanien will exhibit across its five sites, showcasing testimonies from students and teachers about the positive impact of art. The program will also include workshops, meetings, and meditation sessions. The events begin on Monday, October 5, with SISM dans la rue in Pont-Saint-Esprit, featuring games, drawing, and an outdoor exhibition. On Wednesday, October 7, the Léon-Alègre media library in Bagnols-sur-Cèze will host exhibitions, a clay workshop, and a comic book workshop. In Laudun-l'Ardoise, an event will include drawing, an exhibition, and a haiku poetry workshop. On Friday, October 9, a sophrologist will guide a meditation session in front of a work at the Museum of Sacred Art of the Gard, by appointment. On Thursday, October 15, the GEM Cèzâme will organize a graffiti initiation session for those over 15 years old, also by reservation. Film discussions are also part of the schedule. En attendant Bojangles will be debated on October 6 at the Bagnols-sur-Cèze media library, Le Complexe du castor on October 13 at the Émotions cinema, and Les intranquilles on October 14 at the Ciné 102 of Pont-Saint-Esprit. On the same day, October 14, the Festiv'Arts day will take place at La Cazerne in Pont-Saint-Esprit, offering dance, painting, and nutrition workshops, as well as clown performances, singing, and displays by majorettes and dancers. Most of these activities are free, though cinema sessions require payment. The fortnight of cultural events will conclude on Saturday, October 17, with a lottery organized by the Mot-Zaïque association in Pont-Saint-Esprit. This event will provide a final opportunity for participants to engage with the diverse range of activities offered throughout the month.
