For its 37th edition, the Mental Health Awareness Weeks (SISM) have chosen art as their central theme, using the slogan "for our mental health, let us open ourselves to the arts." The event will take place over two weeks and include a variety of activities such as apéros, exhibitions, open days, round tables, and support groups across the Île-de-France region. These events aim to highlight the role of art in promoting mental well-being and fostering community connections. In Paris, activities include senior cafes, open days, writing workshops, and film screenings. Events will conclude on October 17, with dance therapy workshops for parents and children in the 1st and 19th arrondissements. These workshops aim to provide a creative and supportive environment for families to explore mental health through movement and expression. In Seine-et-Marne, the opening event will be held in Moret-sur-Loing on Monday, October 5, featuring a coffee-debate on the role of art in mental health. On Saturday, October 10, the Bussy-Saint-Georges Family Pole will open its doors from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., showcasing activities related to childhood, parenting, and psychology, along with a gourmet buffet. On Monday, October 12, La Vie Différemment will organize a round table in Arville starting at 6 p.m. In Yvelines, the opening event took place on Friday, October 2, with a two-day workshop to become a mental health first aider. A theater workshop for 16-25 year olds will be held on Monday, October 5, at the Rooftop in Chesnay-Rocquencourt, focusing on student life. Events will conclude with a three-day exhibition from October 17 to 21 at the Groupe d'entraide mutuelle (GEM) in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine.
