During Amazon Week, the Polti Vaporetto SV440 Double steam cleaner is available for 84.00 euros at Amazon Prime using the promo code FRPRIME5. This is currently the top choice in a recent product comparison. Polti, an Italian brand, offers a wide range of steam cleaners under its Vaporetto line, which uses high-temperature steam to clean and disinfect surfaces without the need for harsh chemicals. The SV440 Double is similar to the SV450 Double model, but it includes 11 accessories instead of 13, omitting a wipe and a small brass brush. These accessories allow the device to clean a variety of surfaces and can be converted into a handheld cleaner for more flexible use. In tests, the SV440 Double preheats quickly and effectively removes stains in a short time, making it one of the few steam cleaners that perform this task efficiently. The ability to convert it into a handheld cleaner in just two steps is a notable advantage. However, the SV440 Double has some drawbacks. The cable length is relatively short, which can be a limitation during use. Additionally, some of the materials used in its construction appear to be of lower quality. Despite these issues, the SV440 Double is priced at 149 euros, offering a strong quality-to-price ratio. As an alternative, the Shark SteamPickUp SD200EU combines steam disinfection with vacuuming, eliminating the need to vacuum before cleaning. It is compact, lightweight, and easy to handle. However, it cannot be converted into a portable cleaner for tasks like cleaning joints, windows, or cooking plates. Additionally, its roller design is not considered the most hygienic or thorough compared to other models.
