The Polti Vaporetto SV440 Double steam cleaner is currently available for 89 euros at online retailers like Amazon, Boulanger.com, and Rakuten. This price is based on a recent lab test comparing 19 steam cleaner models, in which the SV440 Double was noted for offering the best quality/price ratio. It is similar to the SV450 Double model, but it comes with 11 accessories instead of 13, missing a wipe and a small brass brush. These accessories allow the cleaner to be used on various surfaces and converted into a handheld unit for easier cleaning in tight spaces. The SV440 Double is praised for its fast preheating, ease of maneuvering, and ability to effectively remove stains. It can be transformed into a handheld cleaner in just two steps, making it versatile for different cleaning tasks. However, one drawback is its relatively short cable length, which limits how far it can be used from the power source. The SV440 Double was originally launched at 149 euros, and its current price is seen as a strong value for its performance. The SV450 Double is also highlighted for its quick preheating and effective stain removal. Like the SV440 Double, it can be converted into a handheld cleaner in two steps. The SV450 Double has a similar quality/price ratio, with a launch price of 149 euros. Both models are recognized for their performance, but the SV450 Double includes two additional accessories, making it slightly more versatile for users who need more cleaning tools. While the SV440 Double offers a competitive price and strong performance, the choice between the two models may depend on the number of accessories needed for specific cleaning tasks. Both are considered excellent options for those looking for an efficient steam cleaner at a reasonable cost.
