France Travail, a French public employment agency, has launched a new online platform called numérique.francetravail.fr to help people find jobs in the digital sector. Launched on September 21, the platform serves as a central hub for job seekers, employers, and those looking to transition into technology-related careers. It focuses on seven key areas of the digital industry, including software development, data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, design, marketing, and project management. The goal is to provide a comprehensive resource for both job seekers and employers looking to fill digital roles. For job seekers, the platform includes a "discovery and support" section that offers detailed information on over 140 different jobs within the digital field. Users can explore roles such as Analyst SOC (Security Operations Center), data center technician, and UX/UI designer. A "Training and Certification" section is specifically tailored for individuals looking to move into the tech sector, offering guidance on the necessary skills and qualifications. Additionally, the "Employment and Entrepreneurship" page helps users take concrete steps toward finding a job or starting their own business in the digital field. A special section on the platform is dedicated to women interested in joining the digital industry. It connects users with organizations and training programs designed to support women in tech, such as Femmes @ Numériques, Elles bougent, Sista, and Cyberelles. This initiative aligns with the platform’s broader goals, which include connecting users with support organizations, offering immersion opportunities, and facilitating exchanges with industry professionals. Employers can also benefit from the platform through a dedicated section that provides tools to help them identify suitable candidates quickly. This feature is part of France Travail’s "sectoral platform dynamic," which aims to match job seekers with employers more efficiently. Alongside the digital professions portal, France Travail also offers similar platforms focused on other sectors, including healthcare, culture and performance, and transport and mobility.
