The Roborock F25 Steam robot vacuum is a high-performance cleaning device designed to tackle a variety of household tasks. It features 25,000 Pa of suction power, which remains strong even when the vacuum is tilted to its flattest position, reducing its height to 12.5 cm and allowing it to reach under furniture and along baseboards. The device includes a multi-stage separation system that keeps wastewater, air, and debris separate to protect the motor, and a double scraper system that prevents hair and fibers from tangling during operation. This system achieved a tangle rate of 0% during testing with 2,000 strands of 50 cm each across four cleaning modes. The F25 Steam offers four distinct cleaning modes: AUTO, Steam, ECO, and Sponge, each optimized for different needs and surfaces. In AUTO mode, the vacuum can clean up to 370 square meters on a single charge, lasting about 49 minutes. The Steam mode, which uses high-temperature water to clean, lasts 20 minutes for about 180 square meters. The ECO mode provides the longest runtime, cleaning 660 square meters in 80 minutes, while the Sponge mode offers similar performance to AUTO. The device has tanks that can hold up to 1,000 mL of clean water and 720 mL of dirty water. The steam function uses a significant amount of energy, which is why it has a shorter runtime compared to other modes. A full charge takes about 4 hours using a 45 W charger. In Steam mode, the device heats water to about 180°C internally, and the steam exits at approximately 99°C, reaching the floor at around 70°C. According to Roborock, the steam flow remains stable once the mode is activated, based on internal tests. Safety evaluations have confirmed that the device does not damage various flooring types, including ceramic tiles, marble, and solid and engineered wood. The TÜV SÜD laboratory tested the device and found no blisters or deformation after 60 minutes of continuous use and 18,000 back-and-forth movements on solid wood flooring. The F25 Steam includes a DirtDetect module that measures dirt levels in real time and adjusts the cleaning power accordingly to avoid re-cleaning the same areas. A blue light helps illuminate fine particles in dark spaces, guiding the cleaning process. The roller brush can clean up to 1 mm from the edges, making it effective for cleaning corners and baseboards. An LED screen with a progress bar shows how much of the cleaning session has been completed. After each cleaning session, the F25 Steam automatically cleans its roller with steam and offers hot air drying at 95°C, with two settings: a quick 5-minute dry or a quieter 30-minute dry. The device also features automatic dosing of the cleaning solution, reducing the need for manual maintenance for up to 30 days. Compared to the F25 Ultra in the same series, the F25 Steam offers stronger suction but lacks hot water cleaning and app connectivity. The F25 series also includes the F25 ACE Pro and F25 Pro Turbo for different cleaning needs. The F25 Steam measures 265 × 246 × 1,096 mm and weighs 5.6 kg. It comes with a charging station, power cord, cleaning solution, washable filter, maintenance brush, roller, and manual.
