The Logitech G515 Lightspeed TKL keyboard is currently on sale on Amazon for 67.99 euros, which is about 28% cheaper than its usual price. This discount is calculated by comparing the current day's lowest price with the average of the lowest prices set by other retailers last month. The calculation follows specific rules to ensure fairness, such as excluding stores with unclear tax policies. The G515 is a mid-range wireless gaming keyboard, designed to be compact and equipped with low-profile keys that are shorter than traditional ones, making them easier to press. It has a simple, minimalistic look, which some may find unexciting, especially in its white version. Despite its plain appearance, the G515 offers several appealing features. It includes PBT keycaps, which are durable and provide a satisfying tactile feel, and brown switches that are known for their smooth, clicky action. The keyboard also has a long battery life, making it suitable for extended gaming sessions, and comes with a range of customizable software options for lighting and shortcuts. However, it lacks multimedia keys, a scroll wheel, and is not particularly portable due to its design. It also has limited secondary functions and is mostly made of plastic, which some users might find less premium. Despite these drawbacks, the Logitech G515 Lightspeed TKL is still a strong contender in the mid-range gaming keyboard market. Its combination of good build quality, solid performance, and a variety of software options makes it a commendable choice for those looking for a reliable and customizable keyboard without breaking the bank. It could very well find a niche among gamers and enthusiasts who prioritize functionality over aesthetics. An alternative to consider is the MSI FORGE GK600 TKL, a more affordable keyboard that still offers high-end features. The GK600 is compatible with hot-swapping, allowing users to replace switches easily, and supports three different connectivity options, including wired and wireless. It also features high-quality keycaps and switches, making it a good starting point for those interested in customizing their own keyboard. However, it does make some compromises in comfort and customization compared to more expensive models.
