The TP-Link Tapo C510W surveillance camera is currently available for 36.99 € at Amazon and Boulanger.com, according to a recent comparison of 79 models tested in a laboratory. The Tapo C510W was noted as having the best quality/price ratio in the comparison. It is described as a reliable and easy-to-use solution for monitoring the surroundings of a house without significant expenditure. The camera features 360° vision, allowing it to cover a full circle of view, and movement tracking, which helps identify and follow motion within its range. It can monitor several consecutive areas, making it useful for covering different parts of a home. The camera is praised for its excellent night image quality, which is important for visibility in low-light conditions. It includes a microSD port for local storage and cloud storage options, though the latter requires payment. Additionally, it features a high-performance microphone and speakers, which are useful for two-way communication. However, it lacks powerful projectors, which could be used for lighting or displaying information, does not support Ethernet connections, which can provide a more stable internet connection, does not have vehicle detection, which could be helpful for monitoring driveways or parking areas, and has a less qualitative design, which may not appeal to those looking for a more aesthetically pleasing product. The Eufy Camera Intérieure 2K Pan & Tilt is noted as the second best quality/price ratio in the comparison. It is described as an interesting solution for monitoring interiors remotely, offering good image quality, effective movement detection, and tracking. These features are particularly useful for parents and pet owners who want to keep an eye on their home and loved ones without additional costs. The camera includes relevant functions such as two-way audio and motion alerts, which can be helpful for security and monitoring purposes. Cloud storage is available but not necessary due to the microSD port, which allows for local storage without ongoing subscription fees. This makes the Eufy Camera a versatile option for those who want to monitor their home interiors with a balance of functionality and affordability.
