Grisbi meeting highlights Pink October campaign

The Rose, a local organization, was invited to the plenary meeting of Grisbi on Thursday, October 15, in Saint-Victor-la-Coste. The event was hosted by mayor Véronique Herbé, and attendees wore pink to support Pink October, a global awareness campaign for breast cancer.

Grisbi focuses on breast cancer solidarity

The meeting's agenda included updates on the Grisbi network, support for women affected by breast cancer, and the role of the disease in the company. Florent Robert, president of Grisbi, explained that the network had chosen to focus its annual solidarity action on Pink October.

Funds directed to breast cancer support

The board of directors reserves a portion of its fees for an association each year. "In the amount of your subscription, a part is automatically directed towards our solidarity action and we thank you for that," Robert said. This year, the funds go to Histoire de Seins, a newly founded association.

Histoire de Seins aims to reduce patient costs

Histoire de Seins, founded in September 2025 by health professionals from the Bagnols-sur-Cèze hospital, aims to reduce the cost of post-operative bras, which can be as high as 80 euros. The association, led by Dr. Elena Dajbog, plans to provide care kits adapted to different treatment stages.

Partnership helps achieve funding goal

Histoire de Seins had planned to finance 120 bras for 2026, matching the number of patients operated on at the Bagnols-sur-Cèze hospital in 2025. A partnership with manufacturer Medical Z made this goal possible. Volunteers now aim to provide care kits tailored to each treatment phase.

Workplace reintegration support

Dr. Lefèvre from Prévy discussed the liaison meeting and pre-return visit, measures designed to help employees return to work after a prolonged absence. These steps aim to prevent unfitness and ensure a smooth transition back to work.

Grisbi encourages empathy and support

Florent Robert emphasized the importance of understanding the challenges faced by those with illness. "As leaders, but also as women, husbands, we can all be confronted, directly or indirectly, to this situation," he said, urging kindness and humanity in supporting those in need.

Mocka Photographie joins Grisbi network

Pauline Collus introduced Mocka Photographie, a new member of the Grisbi network. Based in Garn, she offers photography and visual communication services for businesses and families.
