Amazon retains discounts after Prime Days

Six days after Prime Days ended on October 7, Amazon continues to show discounts on some of its tech products, including robot vacuums and televisions. These discounts are still visible even though Black Friday, the next major shopping event, is not until November 27.

Discounts based on old or fluctuating prices

Many of the current discounts on Amazon are calculated using a suggested price that no longer exists. During checks on October 12, most of the significant price drops were based on current market prices or higher than those at other retailers like Fnac, Darty, or Boulanger.

Ten selected offers with detailed comparisons

Ten products, all sold by Amazon or its official brand stores, were compared. The comparison prices shown are not the original suggested prices but instead reflect the lowest prices recorded in the last 30 days or elsewhere in recent weeks.

Specific products and their current prices

Among the products, the Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 robot vacuum is listed at 549.99 euros instead of 799.99 euros. The LG 75QNED7E 75-inch television is priced at 679.99 euros instead of 902 euros. Other items include the LG UltraGear 27G640A gaming monitor, the Cosori Turbo Tower oil-free fryer, and the Segway-Ninebot Max G2 E electric scooter, each with varying discounts.

Details on product features and limitations

The Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 is 7.98 cm high and includes a LiDAR sensor for navigating under furniture. The LG 75QNED7E has a Mini LED backlight and four HDMI inputs but only a 60 Hz refresh rate. The LG UltraGear 27G640A gaming monitor has a 300 Hz refresh rate but may reflect more glare in bright environments.

Other product specifics and comparisons

The Cosori Turbo Tower allows cooking two dishes at once but is quite large and heavy. The Segway-Ninebot Max G2 E is limited to 25 km/h, the legal speed for electric scooters in France. The Rowenta X-Pert 6.60 vacuum is lightweight and suitable for small apartments.

Discounts and their duration

Some of the discounts are recent, such as the Roborock F25 LT Gen2, which is 90 euros below its lowest price in the last 30 days. Others, like the LG UltraGear screen, were already available at lower prices earlier in the year. There is no clear indication that these prices will remain low through Black Friday.

Additional promotions beyond tech products

Beyond tech, Amazon and other retailers are offering promotions on services like Cyberghost VPN, 5G mobile plans, music subscriptions, and security software. These include significant discounts on subscriptions and tools for online privacy and security.
