Amazon starts weekend flash sales

With less than a month until Black Friday, Amazon has begun offering flash sales on part of its tech catalog for this weekend. The event includes a range of products, from pocket batteries to 85-inch televisions, with some discounts considered more symbolic than substantial. Black Friday this year falls on Friday, November 27, but Amazon is not waiting for that date to adjust its prices. A series of limited-time offers also affects home maintenance, gaming PCs, storage, and charging. None of these listings indicate an end time: a price noted today could change tomorrow.

Reference prices may differ

The reference price indicated for each offer is not necessarily the crossed-out price on Amazon. The lowest price practiced by Amazon over 30 days was used when available, otherwise the history from LeDénicheur or the price observed at another merchant. For the 85-inch LG television and the Dreame FP10 purifier, due to the lack of historical data, only a comparison with the recommended price was possible: their discount should be taken with more caution.

Top 15 Amazon flash sales

The 15 best Amazon flash sales for this weekend include a variety of products, such as vacuum cleaners, laptops, televisions, and external batteries. Prices range from a 50% discount on the Lefant M5 Pro vacuum cleaner to a 54% discount on the EcoFlow Rapid Mag battery. Some of the most notable deals include the LG QNED 85-inch television, the Lenovo Chromebook, and the Corsair MP600 SSD.

Promotions in software and subscriptions

Promotions in the categories of VPN, software, and subscriptions include discounts on services like Cyberghost VPN, pCloud Pass Premium, and 5G mobile plans. These offers range from 35% to 82% off, with some allowing for lifetime access or free months. The B&You 5G plan includes Deezer Premium for two months, and the Avast One Premium Security antivirus is available at a 50% discount for one year.

Vacuum cleaners vary in price and performance

Three vacuum cleaners are listed, at very different prices, and their discounts do not tell the same story. The Narwal Flow 2 is the only one tested: it received a 9/10 rating and an excellence price in its test. The Lefant M5 Pro has the strongest decrease among the three robots, by half. The Roborock F25 LT Gen 2 is not a robot but a cordless vacuum cleaner that is operated manually. The Lenovo LOQ 15" offers a combination of an RTX 5060 and a Full HD screen at 144 Hz targeting 1080p gaming, with 16 Go of memory. The discount reaches 200 €.

EcoFlow battery discount may be smaller

The EcoFlow Rapid Pro has 27,650 mAh (99.54 Wh), remaining under the 100 Wh limit allowed in the cabin, and its 300 W distributed over four outputs, including an integrated USB-C cable of 140 W, are sufficient to charge a laptop. However, the last known Amazon price from camelcamelcamel was 104.49 € on September 7, bringing the real saving down to about twenty euros.

Discounts vary widely across products

Seven offers exceed 25% discount, with the two EcoFlow batteries (-54% for the Rapid Mag, -51% for the Rapid Pro) and the Lefant M5 Pro robot (-50%) leading. At the other end, the Narwal Flow 2 only loses 5%, the MSI motherboard and the Baseus charger set less than 20%. For the LG television and the Dreame purifier, the calculation is based on the recommended price: without historical data, it is impossible to say if 1,199 € and 399 € are unusual prices.

Black Friday may not repeat these deals

Black Friday will bring its share of promotions, but nothing guarantees that these products will be discounted there, or at the same level. If one of them meets an immediate need, the price this weekend is a serious basis, provided you check it on the listing when ordering. For the robots, a comparison of the best robot vacuums allows positioning these three models against the current references, from the small budget to the high-end.

Limited-time offers lack end dates

The listings for these 15 products display "Limited-time offer," without specifying an end time. The price can therefore change at any time: check it on the listing before ordering. Since 2022, an announced discount must be calculated from the lowest price practiced by the seller over the previous 30 days. This is the reference used for most of the offers in this selection, and the cases where it was missing are noted.
