The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is a more affordable option in Samsung's latest Galaxy S26 series. It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 4900 mAh battery that supports wired charging at 45 watts, and comes with the Galaxy Buds 3 FE earbuds. Normally priced at 802 euros, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE (with 128 GB storage) and the Galaxy Buds 3 FE are currently available for 649 euros at the French electronics retailer Darty. The Galaxy S26 FE shares the design language of the S26 series, including very thin bezels around the screen, an aluminum frame, and a glass back that is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. The phone features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and an adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate. On the back, it includes a 50-megapixel main camera with stabilization, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. In terms of performance, the Galaxy S26 FE is powered by the Exynos 2500 chip, built on 3 nm process technology, paired with 8 GB of RAM. It runs on Samsung's One UI 9, which is based on Android 17, and includes seven years of Android and security updates. The device also supports Galaxy AI features and comes with six months of free access to Google AI Pro. The battery provides a full day of use and supports wired charging at 45 watts and wireless charging at 15 watts, though no charger is included in the box. The Galaxy Buds 3 FE earbuds have a more modern stem design and intra-aural ear tips, with IP54 certification for sweat and dust resistance. They offer good passive noise isolation and active noise cancellation that Samsung claims can reduce noise by up to -32 dB. The earbuds use 11 mm speakers that deliver rich, customizable bass through an accompanying app and support real-time translation via Galaxy AI. With active noise cancellation enabled, the earbuds last for 6 hours of listening, extending to 8 hours and 30 minutes without it. The total playback time with the charging case is 24 hours with ANC or 30 hours without it. However, the case can only be recharged via USB-C, not wirelessly.
