Rick (@lesnums_bonplan) has highlighted the Bosch WAN28218FF washing machine as the top affordable option in a recent comparison. The model is currently available for 479.99 euros at Darty.com. In testing nine different models in their lab, Rick found this Bosch model to be the best value for money. The Bosch Serie 4 WAN28218FF is very similar to the Bosch Serie 4 WAN28238FF, sharing the same technical features, including an 8 kg capacity, a spin speed of 1400 revolutions per minute, and a quiet EcoSilence Drive motor. The Bosch WAN28218FF excels in several areas, such as its ergonomic design, quiet operation, and strong rinsing performance. These features make it especially appealing for users with sensitive skin, as it effectively removes detergent and residues. However, the machine has some drawbacks, including longer program durations and a spin that could be slightly more efficient. One notable feature is the "more water" option, which, despite increasing water usage, only provides a minimal improvement in rinsing performance. This suggests that for most users, the standard settings are sufficient and more efficient. The Serie 4 WAN28218FF is a discreet and compact machine, making it ideal for those living in smaller spaces. Its ease of use and programming also make it a practical choice for a variety of users. While it has some minor shortcomings, its overall performance and affordability make it a strong contender in the market.
