Twin sisters discover different fathers

Charlène and Magalie, twin sisters living in Garennes-sur-Loire near Angers in Maine-et-Loire, found out over fifteen years ago through a DNA test that they had different fathers.

Rare biological occurrence explained

The phenomenon they experienced is called heteropaternal superfecundation, which occurs when a woman releases multiple eggs during ovulation and has sexual encounters with different men around the same time, leading to twins with different fathers.

Magalie finds her biological father

Magalie was able to identify her biological father through the DNA test, which provided her with the information she needed to understand her origins.

Charlène continues her search

Charlène, however, is still trying to find out the identity of her biological father, as the test did not provide enough information to pinpoint his name.
