Oprah Winfrey is set to host an immersive live experience called "AHA" at the Las Vegas Sphere from April 2 to April 4, 2027. The event, which will last two hours, will feature performances by Grammy-winning artist Jacob Collier, poet Ocean Vuong, and other special guests. While some reports indicate the event will be held four times over the weekend, others confirm the specific dates as April 2 to 4. This experience will be one of the first major events at the Sphere, a state-of-the-art venue known for its advanced 4D technology that combines sound, light, and motion to create a fully immersive environment. Winfrey was inspired to create "AHA" after attending U2’s opening night performance at the Sphere in 2023, which showcased the venue’s unique ability to engage all the senses. She has described the Sphere’s 4D capabilities as a powerful tool to help people reach their highest potential, aiming to offer an experience of "magnificent wonder." The event will feature collaborations with notable artists and creators, including Oscar-nominated composer Max Richter, Grammy-nominated musicians Jason White and Jon Hopkins, playwright Tarell Alvin McCraney, and stage designer Es Devlin, who is known for her innovative and visually striking work in theater and music. Tickets for the event will be available to the general public starting September 25. Winfrey, who concluded her long-running talk show 15 years ago, has continued to be active in various roles, including as CEO of her own TV network, OWN, and through her podcast and live tours. At 72 years old, she has expressed that she is not ready to slow down, emphasizing a sense of urgency to share her message through more powerful and immersive experiences like "AHA." Winfrey has often spoken about the importance of listening to one’s calling, a concept she attributes to the words of poet and civil rights activist Maya Angelou. She hopes to inspire attendees to recognize and seize their own opportunities. Her influence remains strong, with her book club, her "Favorite Things" list, and her connections in politics continuing to shape cultural and social conversations.
