The Asus Vivobook S1607QA is currently on sale at Boulanger in France for 499.99 euros, down from its original price of 699.99 euros, thanks to a 30% discount using the code FRENCH20 during the French Days promotion. This laptop is marketed as a lightweight and portable option for office use, featuring a 16-inch Full HD screen, a Snapdragon X processor, and 8 GB of RAM. It includes a carrying case and a wireless mouse, making it convenient for users who need to work on the go. The laptop is designed with portability in mind, weighing less than two kilograms and having a thickness of less than two centimeters. It offers a range of connectivity options, including two USB-A ports, a USB-C port, and an HDMI input, which makes it suitable for connecting to external devices like monitors or projectors. The backlit keyboard is a useful feature for those who work in low-light environments, and the manufacturer claims a battery life of up to 22 hours, though the charger is not included in the package. The screen has a Full HD resolution with a brightness level of 300 nits, which is adequate for everyday tasks like text processing and photo editing, especially with the included 256 GB SSD. However, the laptop is not optimized for gaming or resource-intensive applications, as its performance is tailored more for office and light multimedia tasks. Users may need to consider purchasing a charger separately, as it is not included in the box. Overall, the Asus Vivobook S1607QA is a compact and efficient option for users who prioritize portability and basic productivity features. While it lacks some components like a charger and has limitations in performance, it offers good value for those who need a lightweight, well-connected laptop for daily office use.
