AO has cut the price of the Asus Zenbook 14 OLED laptop by £350, bringing it down to £849 (originally £1,199), including free delivery. AO members can get an extra £38 discount, bringing the final price to £811. This reduction represents a 29% saving on the original price. The laptop is now more affordable than it has been in the past, having previously been sold for as low as £729. The Asus Zenbook 14 OLED is a lightweight, portable laptop designed for business professionals and students. It features a 14-inch WUXGA OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 400-nit brightness, and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The screen is not a high-resolution 2K or 4K model, but it offers vibrant colors and deep blacks typical of OLED displays. The laptop also includes a backlit keyboard, a 75Wh battery, and up to 18 hours of battery life. Under the hood, the laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor, which combines 16 cores with integrated Intel Arc 140T graphics and can reach speeds of up to 5.1GHz. It comes with 16GB of soldered LPDDR5X RAM, meaning the memory cannot be upgraded, and a 1TB SSD for storage. Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A, and HDMI 2.1. The laptop also supports Wi-Fi 7 for faster wireless connections. While the Zenbook 14 OLED is well-suited for everyday tasks, it is not recommended for gaming due to its 60Hz refresh rate and lack of a dedicated graphics processing unit (GPU). For users who need a lightweight, portable device with an OLED screen and strong performance for work or study, this laptop offers a compelling option at its current discounted price. AO members may find it worthwhile to join the loyalty program for an additional £38 discount, though the annual membership costs £39.99.
