New console version announced

Ubisoft has announced a version of Riders Republic for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, developed by Ubisoft Annecy. The game will launch on December 9, 2026, alongside a new offline gameplay mode available on all platforms.

Offline mode details

The offline mode, named Nomad mode, allows players to access most of Riders Republic’s content without an internet connection. Players can explore the open world, progress through their career, unlock landmarks, and collect items at their own pace, with all progress automatically saved once they reconnect online.

Online features remain

While the offline mode offers a solo experience, some features still require an internet connection. These include the in-game store, seasonal events, sponsor content, multiplayer modes, and player-created events. The offline mode will be available on all current platforms, including the Nintendo Switch 2, on December 9.

Multiplayer and competition

Riders Republic includes a large multiplayer area where players can compete against up to 50 others in races and challenges. The game continues to evolve with new seasonal events, sports, and challenges, providing ongoing content for players.

Game world and customization

The game features four sports disciplines and an open world that combines real and mythical American landscapes, such as Yosemite and Yellowstone. Players can switch between sports like cycling, skiing, snowboarding, and wingsuit flying. A wide range of cosmetic items, including branded gear and streetwear, lets players customize their appearance.
