The Witcher 3 Remastered continues to offer players new free content that can be accessed during a specific timeframe. To celebrate the release of The Witcher 3 Remastered, a refreshed version of the 2015 game developed by CD Projekt RED, the studio has introduced a free content campaign. This comes as players wait for the upcoming expansion Songs of the Past, set to launch in early 2027. The campaign includes a Twitch Drops initiative, which allows players to earn in-game items by watching streams on the platform. The Twitch Drops campaign associated with The Witcher 3 Remastered focuses on cosmetic items for Ablette, Geralt’s horse. These items allow players to dress Ablette in colors that match other free content linked to the remastered version of the game. The event is available until October 27, 2026, and is part of CD Projekt RED’s efforts to enhance the player experience and engagement with the game. To obtain the free content, players must watch a live stream on Twitch that displays the [DROP] tag in its title. They need to watch any The Witcher stream for 90 minutes to receive the full set of cosmetic items known as "Fire for Ablette," which includes a saddle, saddlebags, and blinkers. Players can run the stream in the background while doing other tasks. Additionally, they can earn a chat badge featuring the Wolf School Medal by subscribing to a favorite streamer. Once the content is earned through the Twitch Drops campaign, players must retrieve it by linking their Twitch account to the official The Witcher 3 Remastered website. They should follow the instructions to connect their accounts and watch their favorite streamers for at least 90 minutes. After the required viewing time is reached, they will receive a notification. They should log in to the account they use to play The Witcher 3 Remastered on PC or consoles to claim the reward. Once retrieved, players can access the game and go to the inventory section to equip Ablette with the complete set of items in the colors of CD Projekt RED.
