Blood donation event in Argelès-sur-Mer

A blood donation drive is happening in Argelès-sur-Mer from Tuesday, November 3, to Wednesday, November 4, at the Buisson hall, from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The French Blood Establishment is organizing the event, and individuals can donate blood with or without an appointment.

Eligibility requirements for donors

To be eligible for blood donation, individuals must be between 18 and 70 years old and weigh more than 50 kg. They must not have received a blood transfusion and must be in good health.

Preparation and process for donation

Donors are encouraged to eat and hydrate before the donation, which takes approximately one hour, with 10 minutes dedicated to the actual blood donation. Donors are required to bring an identification document.
