The Asus Chromebook CX1505 is currently available at a discounted price of 269.99 euros at the online retailer Cdiscount, using the promotional code CB30DES189. This price is 30 euros less than the already reduced price of 299.99 euros, making it one of the more affordable Chromebook options on the market. Chromebooks are laptops that primarily run on Google’s Chrome OS, which is optimized for web-based tasks and integrates seamlessly with Google services like Gmail, Google Docs, and YouTube. The Chromebook CX1505 features a 15.6-inch IPS Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The screen has an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare and a brightness level of 300 nits, which is good for viewing content in various lighting conditions. It also includes an AZERTY Chiclet keyboard, which is commonly used in French-speaking countries, along with a numeric keypad for easier data entry. These features make it suitable for tasks like word processing and online communication. Under the hood, the Chromebook is powered by an Intel N50 processor that can boost up to 3.4 GHz, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of eMMC storage. The device offers a range of connectivity options, including two USB-C ports that support Power Delivery and display output, a USB-A port, an HDMI 1.4 output for connecting to external displays, and a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones or speakers. It also includes Wi-Fi 6 for faster wireless connections and Bluetooth 5.4 for pairing with wireless peripherals. An HD 720p webcam with a privacy shutter adds convenience and security for video calls. The Asus Chromebook CX1505 has a 42 Wh battery, which provides several hours of use on a single charge, and it charges via USB-C. However, it is sold without a wall charger, so buyers may need to purchase one separately. The laptop weighs 1.6 kg, making it relatively lightweight for a 15.6-inch device. It is ideal for tasks such as web browsing, word processing, video conferencing, and streaming, particularly for users who rely heavily on Google’s ecosystem of apps and services.
