The synopsis of Adabana describes the discovery of a dismembered body of a high school girl in a small rural town in northern Japan, where winters are harsh, which freezes the blood of the residents. As anxiety grows, a classmate of the victim, a 17-year-old girl, comes to the police to claim she is the perpetrator of this murder. However, behind the appearances, disturbing truths await to be revealed.Synopsis of Le Sommet des Dieux
The synopsis of Le Sommet des Dieux follows Fukamachi, who comes across a camera that could be that of George Mallory, the famous mountaineer who attempted to conquer Everest in 1924. Mallory disappeared with Andrew Irvine during the ascent, and it remains unknown whether they reached the summit. If the accident that killed them only occurred on the way back, that would change the history of mountaineering. This question initiates Fukamachi's journey, leading him to meet colorful figures. Self-overcoming, adventure, and the passion for the mountains are the leitmotifs of this remarkable adventure by Jirô Taniguchi.
