TCL's X11 series expands to smaller sizes

TCL is introducing the X11 series to smaller screen sizes in 2026, making it more accessible to a wider audience. Previously, the X11 series was only available in larger sizes and was mostly sold online, but now the TCL 75X11L is the first model in the series aimed at a broader market.

TCL 75X11L faces strong competition

The TCL 75X11L is positioned to compete with high-end models such as the LG G6 and Samsung S99H OLEDs, as well as RGB Mini LED models like the Samsung R95H and Sony Bravia 9 II. Despite its ambitious goals, it received an 8/10 rating in testing and may need a price reduction to stand out.

TCL 75X11L offers a price drop

The TCL 75X11L is currently available at a discounted price of 2,499 euros at Boulanger, down from 3,299 euros, as part of the early Black Friday promotions. This price drop could make it more attractive to potential buyers.

Advanced Mini LED technology

The TCL 75X11L uses a SQD Mini LED panel with 11,520 backlight zones, providing excellent brightness and color performance in HDR formats. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for enhanced visual quality, though the peak brightness is brief during testing.

Limited viewing angles and reflections

While the TCL 75X11L performs well when viewed directly from the front, its viewing angles are limited. Moving away from the center of the screen results in visible blooming and reduced image quality. The anti-reflective coating also does not meet expectations for a TV in this price range.

Strong gaming features

For gamers, the TCL 75X11L offers a 144 Hz panel and four HDMI 2.1 ports, allowing for smooth gameplay and multiple device connections. It also supports VRR, ALLM, and FreeSync Premium Pro, making it a strong option for gaming setups.

Design and space considerations

The TCL 75X11L has a refined design with premium finishes and an integrated Bang & Olufsen soundbar. However, its width of 165.8 cm requires a wide cabinet or wall mounting, as the feet are attached to the sides and no mount is included.

Black Friday 2026 extends beyond a weekend

Black Friday 2026 is no longer limited to a single weekend but has evolved into a month-long promotional period, often referred to as "Black Month." This extended period offers more opportunities for consumers to find good deals on technology products.

Finding the best offers

Boulanger and other retailers are offering some of the best TV, laptop, and audio deals during this time. For those looking for more options, tools like the Frandroid Chrome extension and WhatsApp channel can help track real-time promotions and price comparisons.
