The National Days of Advanced Practice Nurses (JNIPA) will be held on October 8 and 9, 2026, in Paris, celebrating ten years of the development of advanced practice nursing in France. This event will highlight the changes the profession has undergone, the challenges it faces, and the opportunities for sharing experiences and reflecting on the health and roles of advanced practice nurses. The 10th edition of JNIPA will take place at the International House of the International University City of Paris. The chosen theme, "10 years of evolution of advanced practice - Still in transition?" encourages participants to evaluate and reflect on how the profession has grown and what the future might hold. This theme underscores the ongoing nature of the profession's development, even after a decade of progress. Since the introduction of advanced practice nursing in France, the role has increasingly become integrated into healthcare systems. Over the past ten years, changes in training, skills, and professional collaboration have shaped the field. The event will offer a chance to look back at this journey and consider where the profession is headed next. The conference will cover a range of topics, including nursing research, education, skill development, the recognition of advanced practice nurses' roles, leadership, interprofessional cooperation, prevention, and patient care pathways. A key focus will be the health and well-being of the nurses themselves, recognizing the importance of their personal health in their professional roles. In addition to formal presentations, the event will also provide opportunities for networking and sharing experiences related to the evolving landscape of advanced practice nursing.
