Samsung unveils new TV models

Samsung introduced a new series of televisions at the beginning of the year, including models using Mini LED and Neo QLED technologies. These TVs are aimed at consumers looking for advanced display features and performance, especially for gaming and high-quality media.

High refresh rate for gamers

The company’s QN82H Neo QLED series can achieve a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, thanks to proprietary technology. This feature is intended to attract gamers who value smooth motion and responsiveness in their gameplay experience.

Promotional pricing at Boulanger

The 75-inch model, the Samsung TQ75QN82H, is currently available at Boulanger for less than 1,300 euros during the pre-Black Friday period. It was previously priced at 1,499 euros in early October and originally listed at 1,799 euros.

Advanced display technology

The TV uses Samsung’s Neo QLED technology, which combines Mini LED backlighting with Quantum Dots. This combination improves brightness, contrast, and black levels. While OLED screens typically offer better contrast without backlighting, this TV supports HDR10+ Advanced and HDR10+ Adaptive formats.

Enhanced audio features

The Samsung TQ75QN82H includes a two-channel audio system with 30 watts RMS and supports Dolby Atmos. It also features Object Tracking Sound Lite, which makes sounds appear to follow on-screen movement, and Q-Symphony, which synchronizes the TV’s speakers with Samsung soundbars.

Gaming-focused hardware and features

The TV includes four HDMI 2.1 ports and supports a native 100 Hz refresh rate. It can achieve 144 Hz for PC gaming using Motion Xcelerator technology, which requires a powerful graphics card. On PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, it supports 4K up to 120 Hz on compatible games.

Additional gaming and smart features

The TV also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, VRR, and ALLM for smoother gameplay. It runs on Tizen OS and includes the Vision AI Companion system, which allows users to ask questions about the content being displayed. Samsung promises seven years of Tizen OS updates, starting in 2026.
