Moulinex has launched a new version of its Cookeo multicooker, named Simplicity, priced at 199.99 €, which is the lowest price for a Cookeo model to date. This 6-liter device includes 150 guided recipes and offers six automatic cooking modes, making it a versatile tool for home cooks. The Simplicity is available in four colors—white, light gray, brown, and terracotta—and retains the rounded shapes and front screen of earlier Cookeo models, while introducing new features for convenience and functionality. The multicooker comes with a removable 6-liter pot, a steaming tray, and a non-stick coated pot that is compatible with dishwashers. Its ergonomic lid features a single-motion opening and closing mechanism for ease of use. The control panel includes a large screen and a dial for selecting cooking modes such as pressure cooking, steaming, slow cooking, browning, reheating, and automatic keep warm. According to the technical specifications, the pressure mode can reach up to 80 kPa and is designed to preserve up to 80% of the vitamin C in ingredients. The Simplicity also includes a delayed start feature and a manual mode for custom settings. An embedded assistance system provides access to 150 pre-programmed recipes, covering a wide range of dishes from appetizers to desserts, including quick recipes that can be made in under 10 to 15 minutes and vegetarian options. A free mobile application called MyMoulinex enhances the user experience by offering an additional catalog of recipes, ingredient filters to reduce food waste, and tools for managing shopping lists. The multicooker is compatible with optional accessories, such as the Extra Crisp lid, which allows for hot air cooking. It also aligns with Moulinex’s sustainability policy, with a guaranteed reparability commitment for 15 years, ensuring that the device can be repaired and reused for an extended period. This focus on sustainability reflects the company's efforts to reduce environmental impact and promote long-term product use.
