New SEGA arcade machines available

Nostalgic arcade enthusiasts will soon be able to add two new items to their collection. My Arcade is reintroducing two major SEGA licenses in compact devices designed for both playing and decorating a desk or shelf.

Pre-order details and release date

The two models are available for pre-order at 59.99 euros, with an availability date announced for November 27. The two mini arcade machines, which include games released between 1986 and 1993, are available for pre-order through several retailers.

Out Run Racing Player features

The Out Run Racing Player, one of the models, is a mini arcade machine that reproduces the illustrations of the original cabinet. It stands 19.1 cm tall and has a 3.5-inch color screen, an integrated steering wheel with acceleration and braking buttons, an integrated speaker with adjustable volume, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and adjustable screen brightness.

Games included in Out Run model

It operates with four AA batteries or a USB-C cable, neither of which are included. Two games are included in the machine: Out Run, released in 1986, and OutRunners, released in arcades in 1993. Out Run became famous for its racing in a red convertible Ferrari Testarossa, sunny landscapes, and branching routes, while OutRunners continues this formula but shifts it more towards competition.

Shinobi Joystick Player design

The Shinobi Joystick Player, the other model, is aimed at fans of action and ninja combat. This 17.3 cm tall mini arcade machine has a 3.5-inch color screen, a joystick, and physical buttons.

Games included in Shinobi model

The console includes four games from the Shinobi series: Shinobi, The Revenge of Shinobi, Shinobi III, and Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi. It features the arcade version of the first Shinobi, released in 1987, and three episodes published on Mega Drive, all with side-scrolling action. The compilation targets both SEGA nostalgics and those who want to discover the series.

Shared features of both models

Like the Out Run model, the Shinobi Joystick Player includes a speaker with volume adjustment, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a screen with adjustable brightness. It also operates with four AA batteries or a USB-C cable, neither of which are included.
