Amazfit Active 2 price reduction

The Amazfit Active 2 is currently available for 99.90 € on Amazon, which is an 18% reduction from its usual price.

Updated features of the Amazfit Active 2

Amazfit has updated the Active 2 with a more precise heart rate sensor, while retaining an Amoled screen, a speaker, and a microphone despite the price drop.

Design and usability of the watch

The Amazfit Active 2 is described as compact and light, making it comfortable to wear, and it includes a reliable heart rate monitor and a bright Amoled screen. The interfaces of the watch and its accompanying app are noted as being quickly understandable.

Notable drawbacks of the Amazfit Active 2

The tempered glass is considered fragile, and the stainless steel bezel is described as flashy. Additionally, the touchscreen and display are not very responsive, which are noted as weaknesses.

Amazfit’s goals with the Active 2

Amazfit is revising its offering with the Active 2, providing a connected watch with features intended for lifestyle and sports, including specific indicators for sports progress. However, some poorly finished details and a display that is not responsive enough are noted as drawbacks.

How the price decrease is calculated

The price decrease is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices practiced by all merchants for the product last month, with safety rules to exclude prices from stores whose VAT policy is not clear.

Alternative to the Amazfit Active 2

An alternative to the Amazfit Active 2 is the Xiaomi Redmi Watch 5, noted for its beautiful Oled screen, solid autonomy, and nice finish. However, it is criticized for the lack of third-party apps, the absence of some features, and a heart rate monitor that struggles to track split exercises.
