Amazfit has brought back the Cheetah 2 Pro, an updated version of its earlier running watch, offering a range of advanced features. The device includes a case made of titanium and plastic, sapphire glass, dual-frequency GPS, offline mapping, and connected functions. It was launched on April 16, 2026, with a price of 449.90 euros, and is now available on Amazon for 419.99 euros. The watch has a 1.32-inch circular AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a maximum brightness of 3,000 cd/m². However, this peak brightness is only achieved when the battery is above 30%, and it drops to 2,000 cd/m² in automatic brightness mode. Additional features include an ambient light sensor, an always-on mode, and settings to limit automatic activation at night. The Cheetah 2 Pro has dimensions of 48 x 48 x 13.2 mm, combining a slightly gilded titanium frame and back with a plastic bezel. It is water-resistant up to 5 ATM and weighs 45.6 grams without a strap, making it heavier than the Coros Pace Pro (37 grams) or the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 (34.5 grams without a strap, 43.5 grams with its woven strap). The watch includes 32 GB of storage for music and maps, supports 170 sports modes, including a Hyrox profile, and measures running power, VO2 max, lactate threshold, and training load, with Zepp Coach plans based on artificial intelligence. It can synchronize with popular fitness platforms like Strava, TrainingPeaks, Komoot, Relive, Intervals.icu, and Google Health Connect. A minor drawback of the Cheetah 2 Pro is its BioTracker optical heart rate sensor, which may not be reliable during interval efforts. The manufacturer recommends using a Bluetooth LE heart rate chest strap or wristband for more accurate readings. Despite this, the watch includes an integrated LED flashlight, which adds to its utility during outdoor activities. The Cheetah 2 Pro seems to be aimed at serious runners and fitness enthusiasts who require detailed performance metrics and robust outdoor capabilities.
