The Dyson Spot+Scrub AI robot vacuum is currently available on Amazon for 879 euros, making it one of the top contenders in recent product comparisons. As the latest model from Dyson, a British company known more for its high-end vacuum cleaners than robot vacuums, the Spot+Scrub AI aims to establish the brand as a serious player in this growing market. Priced at 1199 euros at launch, the device uses artificial intelligence for navigation and features a bagless dust bin, which is a common design in many modern robot vacuums. In terms of usability, the Dyson Spot+Scrub AI excels in navigation, making it easy to maneuver around furniture and avoid obstacles. It also offers simple maintenance, a HEPA filter that resists clogging, and a bagless dust collection system, which is convenient for users. However, the device has some drawbacks. Its companion app is less feature-rich compared to competitors, and it struggles with certain types of stains, especially those that are slightly embedded in the floor. Additionally, the area where it parks itself often remains dirty, which is a minor but noticeable flaw. Despite these shortcomings, the Dyson Spot+Scrub AI is a significant step forward for the brand. It has made notable improvements over previous models, such as the 360 Vis Nav, and is praised for its effectiveness and ease of use. While it may not yet be the best robot vacuum on the market, it is clearly moving in the right direction. Some users have expressed a desire for additional features in the MyDyson app, like camera broadcasting, which could enhance the device's functionality further. In a similar vein, the Narwal Flow floor cleaner robot is another strong competitor in the market. As a follow-up to the well-received Freo X Ultra, the Flow model improves on filtration and overall performance, making it a reliable choice for households. One area for improvement, however, is the continued use of dust bags, which can be difficult or even impossible to recycle. Despite this, the Narwal Flow is a highly effective robot vacuum for cleaning dust and removing floor stains, offering a valuable solution for everyday household maintenance.
