The Dyson Spot+Scrub AI robot vacuum is currently available on Amazon for 879.00 €, and it stands out as one of the top choices in recent comparisons. As Dyson’s latest model, it faces the challenge of proving the British company as a serious contender in the robot vacuum market. Priced initially at 1199 €, the Spot+Scrub AI uses artificial intelligence to navigate and clean, and it features a bagless dust bin, which is a common design in many modern vacuum cleaners. The device excels in several areas. It offers efficient navigation, making it easy to cover all areas of a home. Maintenance is simple, and it includes a HEPA filter that resists clogging, ensuring better air quality. The bagless design is a major plus, eliminating the need for frequent dust bag replacements. However, it has some drawbacks. Its companion app is less feature-rich compared to competitors, and it struggles with more stubborn stains. Additionally, the designated parking area for the robot tends to remain dirty, which can be a nuisance. While the Dyson Spot+Scrub AI is not yet the top robot vacuum on the market, it is getting very close. Its ability to clean floor marks is impressive, though it still has limitations when dealing with more ingrained stains. Some users have expressed a desire for additional features in the MyDyson app, such as camera transmission, which would enhance its functionality. Despite these shortcomings, the Spot+Scrub AI represents a significant leap forward from Dyson’s earlier models, like the 360 Vis Nav, and is a user-friendly, effective robot vacuum. An alternative to consider is the Narwal Flow, a robot vacuum that has made a strong comeback. It builds on the success of the previous Freo X Ultra model, particularly by improving filtration efficiency. While it still uses dust bags, which can be difficult or impossible to recycle, it performs well in removing dust and eliminating floor stains. This makes it a valuable tool for household cleaning. However, the continued use of dust bags is a point of improvement for the brand. Overall, the Narwal Flow is a highly effective robot vacuum, though it still has room for development in eco-friendly design.
