Public voting determines winners

The winners of the NRJ Music Awards will be decided entirely by public votes. The competition includes thirteen categories, with several artists nominated for multiple awards. This format emphasizes audience engagement and reflects current popularity among listeners.

Francophone Female Artist of the Year race

Marine, who won the NRJ Music Award for Francophone Revelation in 2025, is a contender for Francophone Female Artist of the Year. She faces competition from Theodora, Aya Nakamura, Charlotte Cardin, Angèle, Vitaa, and Miki. Angèle’s recent album release could influence her chances in the category.

Francophone Male Artist of the Year contenders

Gims, known for hits such as Spa, T'avais raison, and Soleil, has received gold and diamond records and is a strong candidate for Francophone Male Artist of the Year. He competes against M. Pokora, Orelsan, disiz, Christophe Maé, Tayc, PLK, Bigflo et Oli, and others.

International Male Artist category

Bad Bunny, who won a Grammy for his album Debí tirar más fotos and performed at the Super Bowl, is a top contender for International Male Artist of the Year. BTS, Harry Styles, Muse, and Bruno Mars are considered outsiders, while Teddy Swims and Alex Warren are also in the running but may be overshadowed.

International Female Artist of the Year

Bebe Rexha is set to perform at the event and is a candidate for International Female Artist of the Year. She competes against Olivia Rodrigo, Raye, Karol G, Shakira, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Katseye.

DJ of the Year competition

Mosimann is a likely winner for DJ of the Year, given his active social media presence and performances at stages and festivals. His role as director of Star Academy could give him an edge over David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Sound of Legend, Hugel, and Offenbach.

Francophone Revelation category

Ambre, who won Star Academy, is a contender for Francophone Revelation. She faces competition from Oria, Zélie, ESTL, and Manon Lisa. Her hit Pilé has been popular in French clubs and camps and reached the Top 200 Spotify World.

Francophone Male Revelation and International Revelation

Mauvais Djo is a favorite for Francophone Male Revelation, competing with RnBoi, Anyme, Kanoe, and Danyl. Olivia Dean, with hits such as A Couple Minutes, Man I Need, and So Easy (To Fall in Love), is a candidate for International Revelation, along with Naïka, Djo, Tyla, and Sienna Spiro.

International Hit and Francophone Song of the Year

Naïka is a contender for International Hit for One Track Mind, which was a popular summer track. Melodrama by disiz, featuring Theodora, remained number one on the French top for 23 weeks, making it a favorite for Francophone Song of the Year. However, Pilé by Mauvais Djo or Tant pis pour elle by Charlotte Cardin could create a surprise.
