10th anniversary celebration begins

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 is marking its 10th anniversary with the Final Universe Festival, starting on October 30. This event is a global celebration for fans of the popular action game, offering a variety of special in-game content and rewards.

Rare items return for players

During the Final Universe Festival, rare and difficult-to-obtain items will be reintroduced into the game. These items, which are typically hard to acquire, will be available again, giving players a chance to collect them more easily than before.

Increased rewards and Star Coins

Players will be able to earn 25 times more Star Coins than usual during the event. These coins can be exchanged for various in-game rewards, making it easier for players to obtain desired items and upgrades.

Character camaraderie and exclusive illustrations

The festival also allows players to increase their camaraderie level with key characters such as Trunks, the Time Kaiōshin, or Fu. This progression will unlock exclusive illustrations, offering a unique way to celebrate the game’s anniversary with special visual content.

New Gi and commemorative medal

Participants in the Final Universe Festival can obtain a new Gi, specially created for the occasion, as well as a commemorative medal. These items are designed to be meaningful collectibles and will serve as a lasting reminder of the anniversary celebration.

Linking to future game content

Possessing one of these items will allow players to unlock special items in DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3, depending on the item held. This requires linking their Bandai Namco ID, which will be possible once DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 is released in 2027.

Free update adds new content

A free update, available starting October 27, will introduce new connection rewards, special costumes, and an update to the Time Gallery. This update can be unlocked by purchasing the DLC « FUTURE SAGA Chapter 4 », adding more content for players to enjoy.

Available on multiple platforms

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch, ensuring a wide range of players can participate in the anniversary celebration.
