ITA Airways is set to launch a third daily flight between Rome and Tel Aviv, beginning on October 25. This new service will be operated by flight AZ812, which will depart from Rome’s Fiumicino Airport at 16:00 and arrive in Tel Aviv at 20:20 local time. The return flight, AZ815, will depart Tel Aviv at 8:30 local time and reach Rome at 11:20. These flights will be operated using Airbus A321neo aircraft, which are known for their fuel efficiency and comfort. The Rome Fiumicino–Tel Aviv Ben Gourion Airport route is part of ITA Airways’ ongoing efforts to expand its international network. This new service will add to the existing daily flights on the route, providing travelers with more options for travel between the two cities. The additional flights are expected to support both business and leisure travelers, particularly during peak travel seasons. ITA Airways has been actively expanding its network in recent months. Earlier this year, the airline announced the resumption of direct flights between Rome and Riyadh, as well as the introduction of new routes from Marseille to Rome. These developments are part of a broader strategy to strengthen Rome as a key international hub for the airline. The expansion also includes integration with Saint-Domingue and the implementation of new technologies like NDC (New Distribution Capability), which aims to improve the booking experience for passengers. ITA Airways has also been focusing on enhancing its summer program with new leisure routes, reflecting its commitment to meeting the diverse needs of travelers.
