Ferrari LaFerrari sets auction record in Belgium

A 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari sold for 5.18 million euros at the Zoute Grand Prix auction in Knokke-Heist, setting a new record for the highest price ever paid for a car sold at auction in Belgium.

Rare configuration drives interest

The car’s unique setup, among the few LaFerraris in Belgium, attracted significant collector interest. It is one of only five LaFerraris originally delivered in the country, making it a rare find for enthusiasts.

Bidding exceeded expectations

The auction, held by Broad Arrow Auctions, saw the LaFerrari’s price climb well above its initial estimate of 4 to 5 million euros. Starting at 2 million euros, the final price of 5.18 million euros included fees.

Auction results highlight strong sales

The Zoute Grand Prix auction totaled about 34.6 million euros in sales, with nearly 91 percent of the lots sold. Other notable sales included a Porsche 918 Spyder and a McLaren P1, both fetching over 1.8 million euros.

Car’s history adds to its value

The LaFerrari, with chassis number 208220, was delivered new in Belgium in 2015 and remained with a single owner. It has only 13,069 km on the odometer, a low mileage for its age, and has been maintained through official channels.

Technical specifications enhance appeal

The LaFerrari combines a 6.3-liter V12 engine with an electric motor, producing a total of 963 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under three seconds. Recent maintenance included a high-voltage battery replacement in 2026, ensuring its performance remains top-notch.
