The Logitech G432 gaming headset & microphone is currently available on Amazon Prime for 30.08 €, which is a 25% discount compared to its usual price. The G432 is the successor to the G430 model and has undergone lab testing. It features an extended frequency response, good sound quality, and a practical volume control on the headset itself. Its accompanying software is described as complete and user-friendly. However, some users have noted that the sound presence is somewhat subdued, even after adjustments, and the audio lacks clear definition. The headset’s hinges can make creaking noises, and the volume control on the headset is not easily replaceable, unlike the one on the cable. The cable and microphone are also not detachable. Compared to the G430, the G432 does not offer major improvements in manufacturing, comfort, or sound rendering, as some had hoped. The surround sound experience is not significantly better than previous models. For users who prefer a mini-jack connection, alternatives like the G233, HyperX Cloud, and Cloud Alpha are recommended. Those who prefer a USB connection might consider the G433 or G533 wireless models, which are available at a similar price point. The price reduction is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices offered by all merchants for the product last month. This calculation includes safety rules to exclude prices from stores with unclear VAT policies, ensuring fair comparisons. The G432 is a solid option for gamers looking for a reliable headset, but potential buyers should consider the minor drawbacks, such as the non-detachable components and the lack of significant improvements over the G430 model. If sound quality and comfort are top priorities, exploring alternative models may be worthwhile.
