Review highlights Logitech G432 as top affordable gaming headset

Rick from lesnums_bonplan has reviewed the Logitech G432 gaming headset and microphone, currently priced at 43.58 € on Amazon. This model is noted as the best affordable option in their comparison of 47 tested models, offering good value for money.

Features and performance of the G432

The G432, an upgrade from the G430, was recently tested for its audio capabilities, particularly its DTS Headphone:X 2.0 virtual spatialization. The review found strengths such as extended frequency response, good sound seating, and precise volume control on the headset. However, it noted some weaknesses, including less impactful sound presence and a lack of defined audio quality.

Design and usability aspects

The G432 includes a user-friendly application and practical features, but it lacks detachable cable and microphone, which can be inconvenient. The review also mentions that if the volume control fails, there is no easy replacement, unlike on some other models.

Comparison with previous models and alternatives

While the G432 brings few major changes from the G430, the review suggests looking at other models with mini-jack connections, such as the G233, HyperX Cloud, and Cloud Alpha, which are often on sale. For users who prefer USB, the G433 or G533 wireless models are recommended at a similar price point.
