Katie Price has denied allegations that she "hijacked" her daughter Princess Andre’s moment at the National Television Awards (NTA), sharing video evidence to support her claim. The 48-year-old former glamour model attended the event at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday night with her 18-year-old daughter, who was there to promote her own reality TV show, which was nominated for an award. Princess had arrived with her older brother, Junior Andre, 21, who also has a show in the running. Reports had suggested that Katie was "stalking" her daughter on the red carpet, waiting for a chance to take a photo with her. An unnamed witness claimed that Princess had been "forced" to pose with her mother. Katie refuted these claims, posting a photo of herself and Princess on her Instagram Story and writing, "Hijacked? Stalked? I don’t know where you get your information from, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Watch my next video for the proof!" She followed this with a video showing Princess approaching her mother on the red carpet, which she said proved that her daughter had initiated the interaction. A source told the Mirror that Katie had been "stalking" her daughter on the red carpet, ready to take a joint photo, and that Princess appeared "sad and subdued" while posing with her mother. The source also claimed that Katie "knew exactly what she was doing" by wearing a striking outfit that would draw attention. Katie shares Princess and Junior with her ex-husband, Peter Andre, 53, whom she met on the reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2004. Katie also addressed criticism of her appearance at the event, where she wore a white shirt, tiny black-and-nude lace shorts and tights, with her hair slicked back and dramatic dark eye make-up. She revealed she had undergone corrective breast surgery in Brussels and had filler injected into her temples under general anaesthesia. She explained she wanted to address the hollowness around the sides of her face, which can occur with age or weight loss, but woke up more swollen than expected. She gave her make-up artist, Mitchell Halliday, free rein to cover the bruising and swelling, telling him, "You can do whatever you want." The result was one of the most talked-about beauty looks of the evening, with bold black eye make-up inspired by oversized sunglasses. Katie later complained that some media coverage made her look dramatically different from how she appeared in person. "In the right light and in life, I loved it and everyone commented about it and I loved how I looked," she said on her podcast. "It’s exactly what I wanted." She also accused people of circulating pictures taken under unflattering lighting but seemed relatively unfazed by the attention. Referring to herself in the third person, she concluded, "But she still made the headlines, so I don’t care."
