New kit design unveiled

L'Union Bordeaux-Bègles has revealed its new Third kit for the 2026-2027 season, signed by Kappa. The kit, named "Under the lights," features vertical stripes in bordeaux and navy blue.

Symbolism in the design

The design includes two golden stars above the crest, symbolizing the European titles won in 2025 and 2026. The kit also includes a reference to the team's first European victory on the sleeves.

Continuity with past kits

The design continues the visual identity of previous European kits with characteristic vertical stripes, while incorporating bordeaux, navy blue, and a white collar for a retro touch. The club is celebrating its 20th anniversary and previously honored its roots with kits referencing the CABBG and the lion of the Stade Bordelais.

Focus on recent history

This time, the club highlights its history since the 2006 merger. The team will debut the new kit in their European campaign on October 16, when they travel to Gloucester for a Champions Cup match at Kingsholm.

Aiming for a third title

With two consecutive titles, the team aims for a third European star.
