Ugreen introduces new compact charger

Ugreen has introduced the Nexode Pro 45W charger, a compact and powerful device capable of replacing larger power adapters. The charger is designed to charge smartphones, tablets, and ultraportables, and it features a smart tilted screen that displays real-time charging information. The model is currently discounted by less than 25 percent on Amazon, with a promotional price of 25.99 euros, compared to its usual price of 34.99 euros.

Tilted screen for better visibility

The charger's 45-degree tilted touchscreen is designed to remain visible in various situations, including on wall outlets and desks. The screen can rotate 180 degrees to avoid being upside down and provides access to technical data such as power delivered, voltage, current intensity, charger temperature, and active fast charging protocols. When the screen enters sleep mode, animated emoticons appear to indicate the progress of the charging.

Advanced technology and compatibility

The Nexode Pro uses GaN II technology and supports Power Delivery and PPS standards. It recognizes iPhone 15, 16, and 17 models and adjusts its power accordingly. According to Ugreen, it can charge an iPhone 17 Pro to 70 percent in 30 minutes and a Galaxy S26 Ultra from 0 to 78 percent in 30 minutes.

Limitations and suitable use cases

The charger has some limitations: it offers only one port, requiring devices to be charged sequentially, and its 45 W output is insufficient for more power-hungry devices like laptops. For smartphones, tablets, or portable consoles, the power is more than sufficient.
