Le Café pédagogique is organizing a Forum of the Manifesto on Saturday, 10 October 2026, at La Bourse du Travail in Paris, beginning at 2:30 pm. The event aims to gather educators, parents, students, researchers, and other key players in the education sector to explore ideas for the future of education. The forum will include a "Chorus of the Manifesto," where contributors will give short speeches to highlight the text's depth and variety. This segment will showcase different perspectives and emphasize the collaborative effort behind the document. The event will also feature three round tables led by Philippe Meirieu, a well-known figure in educational reform. These discussions will bring together various actors in the education system, including associations, movements, and trade unions such as FCPE, ATD Quart Monde, La ligue de l’enseignement, the Cemea, the Cicur, Riposte, and several trade unions (CFDT, fep-Cfdt, SNES FSU, UNSA, SE-UNSA, CGT). Each round table will be followed by a general discussion among all participants to explore ways to implement the proposals and foster a collective approach to action. After the round tables, a major witness will summarize the afternoon's discussions, providing a reflection on the key points raised. This will be followed by a more informal time for continued dialogue and networking. The event is designed to encourage ongoing collaboration and shared commitment to the future of education. Those interested in attending can confirm their registration by emailing ecole2027.cafepedagogique@gmail.com. The forum represents a significant step in the ongoing conversation about educational reform and aims to create a lasting impact through collective action and shared vision.
