Chinese tech company Bambu Lab has unveiled an updated version of its P2S 3D printer, now featuring the AMS 2 Pro system, which allows users to print with multiple colors and materials automatically. This system enables the printer to switch between different filaments—thin plastic threads used in 3D printing—without manual intervention. The P2S Combo model is currently on sale with a 50 euro discount as part of the French Days 2026 promotion, bringing its price down to 699 euros from the original 749 euros on Bambu Lab’s official website. The printer offers a printing volume of 256 x 256 x 256 mm, which is suitable for creating small to medium-sized objects. It includes an enclosed printing chamber that can heat up to 110 degrees Celsius, helping to prevent warping in printed items. An adaptive cooling system helps maintain optimal printing conditions, while a 5-inch touchscreen allows users to control the printer easily. Inside the chamber, LED lighting improves visibility during printing, and an AI system can detect common issues like tangled filament or excess material oozing from the nozzle. The P2S Combo version is equipped with a Servo PMSM extruder, a type of motor that provides up to 8.5 kg of force to push the filament through the printer. This makes it more efficient for printing with tougher materials. The AMS 2 Pro system allows the printer to handle up to four spools of filament at once, enabling multi-color printing or switching between different materials seamlessly. The printer itself is relatively compact, measuring 392 x 406 x 478 mm and weighing 16.4 kg, making it easy to place on a desk or workbench.
