Theater experience explores future worlds

Sleep for Earth, an immersive theater experience by the collective Le Clair Obscur, invites audiences to engage in a meditative journey that challenges them to rethink their ways of living. The performance uses sensory elements and interactive scenarios to encourage reflection on personal and collective futures.

Two distinct audience experiences

The performance runs from November 18 to 22, 2026, at the Scène nationale des Gémeaux in Sceaux. It divides participants into two groups: one experiences a guided "awake sleep" on poufs-cocons, while the other observes an audiovisual presentation shaped by the first group’s decisions and dreams.

Focus on ecological imagination

Sleep for Earth shifts the focus of environmental concerns from fear-based messages to a more experiential and imaginative approach. The production aims to inspire new ways of thinking about climate change and future technologies through sensory engagement and collaboration.

Collaborative artistic effort

The project brings together multiple artists and technical contributors, including Angie Pict and Pierre Mignard, as well as technical support from Pôle Nord Studio and other specialists. The production is managed by Paul-Émile Skler and distributed by Lucas Surrel, with administrative support from Harmony Suard.
