The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro gaming headset for Xbox and PC is currently available for less than 200 € on Amazon Prime, marking a drop of about 23% from its usual price. This wired model is part of the Arctis Nova Pro line, which also includes a wireless version. While it shares many features with the wireless variant, such as good sound quality and a comfortable fit, it lacks a few key components like a dual battery system, Bluetooth connectivity, and noise cancellation. The Arctis Nova Pro provides a balanced sound profile after some equalization adjustments, along with a high-quality microphone, an external station that includes a digital-to-analog converter (DAC), access to settings, and multiple connection ports. It also comes with a comprehensive PC application and a well-crafted design. However, it has some drawbacks, such as less detail in high frequencies and ear cushions made of synthetic leather that can cause discomfort due to heat buildup. The price reduction is determined by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices offered by all merchants over the past month. This method ensures fairness by excluding prices from stores with unclear tax policies, often associated with imports from China, to maintain transparency. As an alternative, the Logitech A50 (Gen 5) is highlighted as an improved version of the A50 X. It keeps all the successful features of its predecessor but removes HDMI ports. While it might need a more modern design and better noise isolation for use on the go, it is generally effective, offering a balanced sound, a high-quality microphone, strong versatility, and potentially long battery life.
